These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the fairShare mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

fairShare is a tool designed to help you split bills by scanning receipts and sharing them with friends. We provide a platform for your convenience, but we are not responsible for any financial disputes between you and others.

2. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

fairShare offers scan packs (consumables) and monthly or yearly subscriptions for unlimited scanning.

• Payments: All payments are processed via Apple's App Store (StoreKit).
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellations: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store Account Settings after purchase.
• Refunds: All refund requests must be directed to Apple.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App for any illegal purpose or to upload any content that is offensive, harmful, or violates anyone's privacy.

4. Disclaimers

fairShare is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While we strive for accuracy in our receipt scanning feature, we do not guarantee that it will be error-free. Always double-check your splits and totals before finalizing payments. We are not responsible for any financial errors or inaccuracies.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are the exclusive property of fairShare. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our permission.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the App after an update constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
